Long-range jets fly the longest non-stops in private aviation. Twelve to nineteen seats, range typically 5,000 to 7,500 nautical miles, and a cabin equipped for sleep, work, and long-leg comfort. Long-range jets fly into APF directly; RSW is the operational alternate when day-of conditions call for it.
Typical Aircraft
The Gulfstream G500, G550, G650, and G700, the Bombardier Global 5000, 5500, 6000, 7500, and Global Express, and the Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X are the working long-range platforms. Each handles routine non-stop Pacific, Atlantic, and transequatorial trips.
When Long-Range Fits the Naples Trip
Naples non-stop to Asia, Naples non-stop to most of Europe, Naples non-stop to Australia (on the larger platforms), Naples non-stop to South Africa or the Middle East. For trips that don’t require ultra-long range, heavy or super-midsize is typically more cost-effective.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Naples-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks in September. We work with you on schedule cushion and forecast windows when those months drive the calendar. If any changes are required due to weather and passenger safety, you can expect your advisor to reach out as soon as we are aware. APF observes voluntary Quiet Hours from 10 PM to 7 AM; for late-night arrivals or pre-dawn departures, Southwest Florida International (RSW) is often the more practical option.
