Naples Gulfstream G500 Charter

The Gulfstream G500 is the 2018 clean-sheet ultra-long-range successor to the G450, with 5,300 nautical miles of range and Gulfstream’s Symmetry flight deck with active-inceptor sidesticks. For Naples clients, the G500 is the Gulfstream that covers Europe with a tech stop and the LA basin nonstop at a lower hourly rate than the G600 or G650.

Gulfstream Aerospace delivered the first G500 in 2018, powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW814GA engines and using the Symmetry flight deck (touchscreen-primary avionics, active-inceptor sidesticks). The airframe is 91.2 feet long, 86.3 feet wingspan, 25.5 feet tall. Cabin is trimmed for 13 in a typical layout, up to 19 max in a dense configuration.

Why the Gulfstream G500 Fits Naples

APF at 6,600 feet handles the G500 as a case-by-case departure at MTOW. Cool morning partial-fuel departures for a Northeast or Midwest inbound return are routine; hot afternoon full-fuel West Coast or transatlantic missions want RSW. Aspen, Denver, and LA are nonstop with a full cabin.

For Naples clients comparing G500 vs Global 5500 on ownership or charter economics, the G500 has the more modern cockpit and the same Symmetry flight deck as the G600 and G700, which matters for pilot recurrency costs on an owned aircraft. Cabin refinement is current Gulfstream standard.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
