Light jets are the working category on most short-to-mid Naples trips. Six to eight seats, range typically 1,500 to 2,000 nautical miles, and a runway profile that handles APF straight through. The category covers Naples to most Northeast and Midwest origins as a comfortable single leg.
Typical Aircraft
The Cessna Citation CJ2 and CJ3, the Citation Bravo, the Citation II and V (and V Encore), the Beechjet 400/400A, the Learjet 31 and 35, and the Premier I/IA are the working light-jet platforms. Cabin layout is comfortable for six to eight passengers, with full enclosed lavatories on most platforms.

Naples to Teterboro, White Plains, Bedford, Chicago Executive, or Toronto all fit a light jet. Routes to Aspen, Vail, or Park City also fit a light jet on the right day; runway and altitude performance limits at those destinations are operator-specific and your advisor will check before quoting.

- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)

- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.

Naples-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks in September. We work with you on schedule cushion and forecast windows when those months drive the calendar. If any changes are required due to weather and passenger safety, you can expect your advisor to reach out as soon as we are aware. APF observes voluntary Quiet Hours from 10 PM to 7 AM; for late-night arrivals or pre-dawn departures, Southwest Florida International (RSW) is often the more practical option.
