The Hawker 400XP is the 2003-and-later evolution of the Beechjet 400A and shows up in the Naples market as a mid-priced light jet with seven to eight seats and a belted lavatory. From APF’s 6,600-foot main runway, the 400XP flies TEB, HPN, and PWK nonstop with a normal cabin.
Hawker Beechcraft produced the 400XP starting in 2003 as an aerodynamic and interior update of the Beechjet 400A. Two Pratt and Whitney JT15D-5 turbofans drive the type to 450 knots at up to 45,000 feet, seven to eight passengers, 1,519 nautical miles of range, and 53 cubic feet of baggage. Lavatory is belted per airframe layout.

Why the Hawker 400XP Fits Naples
Range at 1,519 nautical miles covers TEB, HPN, MMU, BED, and PWK to APF with a light cabin. Toronto (YYZ) and Nantucket (ACK) will not make it nonstop with a full cabin, plan a tech stop.
The 400XP is not on Naples Jet Charter’s staging fleet catalogue but is a common charter option through operators positioning south. Availability is charter-market driven rather than scheduled from a Naples base.
APF handles the 400XP comfortably in any season. Baggage at 53 cubic feet is tighter than a CJ2 or Bravo; a family of six should double-check the manifest before departure.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
