Turbo-props fill the gap between pistons and entry-level jets. Six to nine seats typical, range around 1,000 to 1,800 nautical miles, and a runway profile that opens fields most jets cannot use. Out of Naples, turbo-props are the right choice for short Bahamas pairings, Florida regional trips, and short Caribbean hops where the destination runway is shorter than a midsize jet wants.
Typical Aircraft
The King Air 90, King Air 200, and King Air 350 cover most of the working turbo-prop charter fleet. The Pilatus PC-12 (single-engine, large cabin) and the Cessna Grand Caravan 208B are also routine. The Piaggio Avanti II is the high-speed outlier of the category. Each handles short-runway operations and short-stage missions well.

Naples-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks in September. We work with you on schedule cushion and forecast windows when those months drive the calendar. If any changes are required due to weather and passenger safety, you can expect your advisor to reach out as soon as we are aware. APF observes voluntary Quiet Hours from 10 PM to 7 AM; for late-night arrivals or pre-dawn departures, Southwest Florida International (RSW) is often the more practical option.
