Textron announced the program in 2015, first flight was November 2021, and the GE Catalyst engine that powers the airframe was FAA-certified in February 2025. Textron rebranded the program from Cessna Denali to Beechcraft Denali mid-cycle. Published targets are 1,600 nautical miles of range, 285 knots max cruise, six to nine seats, and a 31,000-foot ceiling. All specs are unflown targets, not certified numbers, until type cert lands.
