Naples Bombardier Global 5000 Charter

The Bombardier Global 5000 is the shorter-range sibling of the Global Express family, with 5,200 nautical miles of book range and the same Global cabin cross-section. For Naples clients, the 5000 is the ultra-long-range Bombardier that covers Europe with a full cabin and a fuel stop, or the West Coast nonstop, at a lower hourly rate than the 6000 or 6500.

Bombardier delivered the first Global 5000 in 2005, using a shortened Global Express fuselage. Pre-2007 build standard was about 4,800 nautical miles range; later builds standardized at 5,200. The airframe carries Rolls-Royce BR710A2-20 engines, 96.5 feet of length, 94 feet of wingspan, 25.5 feet of tail height. Cabin is trimmed for 13 in a typical layout, up to 16 max.

Why the Global 5000 Fits Naples

APF at 6,600 feet handles the Global 5000 on cool morning departures at partial fuel; hot Naples afternoons at MTOW push margins and RSW is the honest alternative for a full-fuel West Coast or European mission. Light-cabin repositioning to Palm Beach or Nassau uses APF comfortably.

Range at 5,200 nautical miles covers the LA basin nonstop with a full cabin and puts a Naples-to-London leg inside the envelope with a light-to-medium load. For a snowbird owner who wants Bombardier ultra-long-range capability at a lower hourly rate than the current 6500, the 5000 is the working answer.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
