Why the Citation X / 10 Fits Naples
Cruise speed of 525 knots (Mach 0.92) is unmatched in civilian jet service. On an APF-to-LAX-area winter trip, block time runs roughly 4.0 to 4.5 hours nonstop compared with 5.0 to 5.5 hours on a Challenger 350 or Citation Longitude. That is the reason clients keep quoting the X.
The 51,000-foot ceiling handles Naples summer thunderstorm tops better than any super midsize competitor except the Learjet 60 (also 51,000 ft). Ride quality above the buildups is a real advantage.
