The Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 is the single-engine composite-airframe personal jet with a whole-airframe ballistic parachute, and Naples clients see it almost exclusively as an owner-flown airframe rather than a chartered aircraft.
Cirrus certified the Vision Jet in 2016; the G2 and G2+ generations followed with the ceiling raised to 31,000 feet (from 28,000 on the original SF50). A single Williams FJ33-5A drives the airframe to 311 knots cruise, 1,275 nautical miles of range, and five-to-seven seats (typical charter is 4-5 adults; 5+2 with two children in the aft belted seats).

Why the Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 Fits Naples
For a Naples-based owner-pilot flying to the Bahamas, the Keys, or a mid-Atlantic destination, the Vision Jet is a real personal-aviation airframe. Charter availability in the Naples market is thin.
APF’s 6,600-foot runway and MKY both handle the type without issue.
For a chartering client asking about a Vision Jet booking, be honest about availability and the operator base: most Vision Jets are on personal use rather than a Part 135 certificate. If a client insists, the mission is usually better served by a Phenom 100, HondaJet, or M2 on a real charter operator.

Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Charter Pricing Reference
Industry hourly rates for the Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 run $2,000 to $3,000 per hour as of 7/2026. Actual quotes vary by operator, routing, positioning, and date.
Vision Jet hourly rate is the lowest in the entry-level jet class; Part 135 availability in the Naples area is thin and any quoted rate should be treated as indicative pending operator confirmation.
