Naples Cessna Citation Mustang Charter

The Cessna Citation Mustang CE-510 is the entry-level jet that launched the very-light-jet category in 2006, and Naples clients see it as the lowest-cost jet option for a Nassau day trip or a short Northeast hop. APF is generous for it.

Cessna produced the Mustang from 2006 to 2017 as the smallest jet in the Citation family. Two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW615F engines drive the airframe to 340 knots cruise, 1,150 nautical miles of range, a 41,000-foot ceiling, and four-to-five seats with a belted lavatory.

Why the Cessna Citation Mustang CE-510 Fits Naples

For a couple flying to Nassau for a day or to Palm Beach for a member-guest tournament, the Mustang is the cheapest jet on the Naples market. APF’s 6,600-foot runway is generous; MKY is inside the envelope on cool days.

1,150 nautical miles of range is the honest limit: TEB and HPN are inside the book on a light payload; BED and PWK need a fuel stop. Any full-cabin Northeast trip should be redirected to a CJ1, M2, or Phenom 100.

Cabin size is real: four passengers and light bags is comfortable; five is tight. For a family of five with luggage, the Phenom 100 is a better fit.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
