The Dassault Falcon 7X is the 2007 ultra-long-range tri-jet that established Dassault as a real competitor to the Global and Gulfstream ultras. Three engines, digital fly-by-wire (the first in a business jet), and 5,950 nautical miles of range give Naples clients the airframe that put a nonstop London or LA leg on the Falcon menu.
Dassault delivered the first Falcon 7X in 2007, powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A turbofans and using digital fly-by-wire flight controls, a first for business aviation. The airframe is 76.1 feet long, 86 feet wingspan, 25 feet tall. Cabin is trimmed for 12 in a typical layout, up to 16 max. The 8X (2016) is the fuselage-stretched, longer-range successor.

Why the Falcon 7X Fits Naples
APF at 6,600 feet is a case-by-case departure for the 7X at MTOW. Falcon short-field engineering and the tri-jet weight distribution make it a more workable APF client than a Global 6000 or G550 at comparable mission range, but a full-fuel London or LA departure at MTOW is realistically an RSW trip. Light-cabin repositioning legs use APF comfortably.
Range at 5,950 nautical miles covers London (LTN, FAB), Zurich, and the LA basin nonstop, plus every Caribbean pairing with wide fuel margins. The 51,000-foot ceiling and tri-jet architecture repeat the weather and overwater advantages of the 8X and 900 series at a lower hourly rate than the newer 8X.
