Why the Falcon 2000 Fits Naples
APF at 6,600 feet handles the classic 2000 on cool morning departures. The original airframe does not have the inboard slats that give the later LXS its hot-day short-field advantage, so warm-afternoon MTOW departures are tighter. Operators experienced with the type at APF plan the departure temperature into the trip sheet.
Range at 3,052 nautical miles nonstop covers TEB, HPN, BED, MMU, PWK, and PTK. Toronto is inside the envelope only on a light-cabin day; Aspen usually wants a fuel stop. Outbound Bahamas and Turks and Caicos legs are comfortable. For a client who values Falcon cabin space and reliability at a lower hourly rate than the LXS, the classic 2000 is the value quote.
