Sports teams flying into Naples for spring training, a tournament, or a college bowl prep camp don’t fit commercial schedules well. Equipment is bulky, head counts run high, and the trip has to land close to the facility. We arrange team charters into APF, RSW, and the regional fields that fit the roster size, with cargo configurations sized to the gear list.
Roster, Coaches, Staff, Family
Tell your advisor the head count, the gear pallets, the trainer kit (heavy and fragile), and whether family travels on the same aircraft or follows on a second leg. We’ll size the cabin to the manifest and the cargo to the equipment.
Bowl Games, Spring Training, Tournament Travel
Naples-area facilities and Southwest Florida college venues run regular inbound traffic from Midwest, Northeast, and Texas markets. We arrange round-trip and one-way charters that line up with facility load-in windows and locker-room schedules.
Cargo and Equipment
For teams with oversized equipment (boats, bikes, large instruments, scoring rigs), the trip may split between the passenger charter and a separate cargo leg. Your advisor will size both legs and sequence the loading so equipment lands on time at the facility.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Naples-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks in September. We work with you on schedule cushion and forecast windows when those months drive the calendar. If any changes are required due to weather and passenger safety, you can expect your advisor to reach out as soon as we are aware. APF observes voluntary Quiet Hours from 10 PM to 7 AM; for late-night arrivals or pre-dawn departures, Southwest Florida International (RSW) is often the more practical option.
