Business meetings drive a steady share of Naples charter traffic: a founder heading north for a board day, an executive connecting Naples with New York or Chicago, a family-business principal who wants to be at a closing in the morning and home by dinner. Aircraft That Fit the Trip
Most business meetings out of APF fit comfortably in a light, midsize, or super-midsize jet: Citations, Hawkers, Challenger 350s, Praetors, and the G280 class. The main runway at APF (5/23) is around 6,600 feet, which handles that range. For nonstop legs to the West Coast or transatlantic, heavy and ultra-long-range aircraft (G650, Global 7500, Falcon 8X) fly directly into APF as well. If the runway is contaminated or otherwise unsafe on the day, we may coordinate with the operator on an alternate field such as Southwest Florida International (RSW), subject to scheduling and aircraft availability.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 operators for airliner-size and regional jet group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs).
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Naples-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30 and peaks in September. We work with you on schedule cushion and forecast windows when those months drive the calendar. If any changes are required due to weather and passenger safety, you can expect your advisor to reach out as soon as we are aware. APF observes voluntary Quiet Hours from 10 PM to 7 AM; for late-night returns from a meeting day, RSW often becomes the practical option.
Privacy and Discretion
Passenger names, manifests, destinations, and meeting itineraries are shared only with the operator and the crew assigned to your trip, on a strict need-to-know basis. APF operations stay on the general aviation side, separate from the commercial terminal at RSW.
