Naples Airbus ACJ318 Charter

The Airbus ACJ318 is the same airframe as the A318 Elite (rebranded at EBACE 2011) and lands in Naples-market work through RSW, not APF. Naples Municipal’s 6,600-foot main runway does not take it.

First delivered in 2005 as A318 Elite and renamed ACJ318 in 2011, this is a corporate-configured shortest-fuselage A320-family jet. Enclosed lavatory, 14 to 19 passengers in typical VIP layout. Range 4,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.78, ceiling 41,000 feet, wingspan 111.9 feet. Baggage volume of 430 cubic feet reflects combined internal and external hold typical of ACJ318 corporate config; ACJ variants carry auxiliary center tanks (ACTs) that consume most of the underlying A318 lower-deck space in exchange for range.

Why the Airbus ACJ318 Fits Naples

RSW is the operational field. The ACJ318 fits a Naples-market family-office fleet trip that needs the airliner cabin footprint plus a real bedroom and shower, and is willing to trade some baggage volume for the extended range the ACTs provide.

The 4,200-nautical-mile range covers a nonstop London (Farnborough) to RSW leg for a UK-based Port Royal owner, or a nonstop Los Angeles to RSW for a bicoastal family.

Fits the multi-family Port Royal off-site pattern: 15 executives plus spouses in one cabin, one ACJ318 rather than three or four midsize jets, and a coordinated RSW arrival with ground transport pre-staged.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
